EDUCATOR’S LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP

To honor and recognize the importance of excellent teaching, McDaniel College offers a $100,000 scholarship ($25,000 annually) to the children of parents who work at a K - 12 school nationally, or at one of the following participating community colleges: Anne Arundel Community College, Carroll Community College, Cecil College, Chesapeake College, Community College of Baltimore County, Frederick Community College, Garrett College, Hagerstown Community College, Howard Community College and Prince George's Community College in Maryland, as well as HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College.

Eligible applicants must:

Complete a college preparatory program with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Submit the McDaniel Application or Common Application and all required admission documents by February 15, 2016.
Submit a letter from your parent's principal verifying full-time employment in a K-12 school for a minimum of four years (any service in a K-12 school qualifies, including teachers, counselors, nurses, support staff, administrators).
