Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group visit to McDaniel College!
Please submit this form in order to request your visit date.

Group visits for Fall 2023 will be offered on a case-by-case basis.Tours are for students in 9th through 12th grade and their chaperones. We are unable to accommodate middle or elementary school groups.

Unfortunately, we may not be able to approve all requests due to staffing availability, on-campus events and high visitor volume. For your request to be considered, we require a minimum notice of 10 days in advance for any group larger than 7 students wishing to visit campus. We can accommodate up to 50 students. If we are able to offer your group a campus visit, we request 1 chaperone for every 10 students.

If your campus visit is approved and scheduled, we ask that you contact Admissions at least 5 business days prior to your visit to confirm your visit date, time and provide us a list of registered student visitors and number of chaperones you expect to be in your group.

Here is what you can expect with a group visit:

An Information Session: A member of the Admissions Staff will discuss college fit, McDaniel College, and the application process. We encourage your students to bring relevant questions to learn more about our unique academic program, campus life, and opportunities available to our students. (The information session will run approximately 30 - 45 minutes).

Campus Tour: Our student guides will lead your group around campus to see residence halls, academic buildings and share their experiences. Please ensure your students wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes. (The tour will last approximately 1 hour.)

Optional Lunch in Englar Dining Hall is available for groups that request it and the cost is $9.75 per person.

When can I schedule my group?
We welcome groups to campus on select weekdays during the semester.
Due to admissions staff commitments, on-campus events, or times of high visitor volume, there are certain time periods when group visits are not available. To request a group visit, select an available date from the calendar to the right and complete a Group Visit Request.

We want to eat lunch on campus. What should we expect?
You and your students can eat lunch in the Dining Hall for $9.75 per person.
If you plan to eat in the Dining Hall, we will need to know your estimated number of visitors at the time of your reservation and your final count one week prior to your visit. We will provide you with an invoice following your visit. You can mail a check post-visit, bring a check/cash with you the day of your visit, or pay with a credit card (we do not accept American Express)

If you would prefer to eat off campus we can direct you to local restaurants. We are also happy to arrange on campus place for you to eat your own bagged lunches.
