    • How long are these appointments?
      • These virtual appointments are 20 minutes with a financial aid counselor.
     
    • I have questions about financial aid but am not available during any of the meeting slots, what should I do?
      • The financial aid office is open Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30 pm. You can contact the financial aid office during these hours by phone at: 410-857-2233 or anytime by email at: finaid@mcdaniel.edu
     
    • Does completing the FAFSA mean I have to accept federal loans?  
      • No. Students can choose to accept all the loans, a portion of them, or none of them. 
     
    • What is the difference between a grant and a loan?
      • Grants are financial aid that doesn’t have to be repaid, while loans must be repaid with interest.
     
    • How can I know if I qualify for FAFSA?
