![]() Elevate: Fee-Based Services to Enhance SupportIn addition to accommodations, the office of Student Accessibility and Support Services (SASS) provides fee-based, research-backed programs that are nationally recognized for helping students with disabilities thrive in college academics. Beginning in fall 2026, McDaniel will offer fee-based services through our new program, Elevate. Like SASS' current Academic Skills Program, Elevate goes above and beyond standard accommodations to provide additional support for students with documented disabilities. This all-inclusive program is designed around the academic journey our students experience: from needing more support in their first year of college to developing greater independence as sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Join us on campus for a special Elevate visit or event to learn more! Things to do when visiting mcdaniel"Having a mental health counselor who is only available to students in the SASS program allows for more personalized support to suit the individual needs of each of our unique students."
