Daily Admissions Visits

During the summer months and throughout the academic year, we invite prospective students and their families to spend some time getting to know McDaniel and our admissions staff. Our regular admissions visit includes a small group information session and campus tour (offered at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday – Friday and 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on select Saturdays).

During the McDaniel Information Session, you will join other visiting families to learn how our innovative liberal arts and sciences curriculum, The McDaniel Plan, gives you the flexibility to follow your interests and personalize your learning. The session will also cover opportunities for leadership and learning beyond the classroom, the application process, our merit-based scholarship program, and how you can afford a private education. Individual questions will be answered following the information session.

The walking tour of campus takes approximately one hour, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Since we are close to Baltimore, we recommend that you check the weather forecast for the region before you begin your trip and come dressed for the weather. We do have a supply of umbrellas for our visitors; however, you may want to bring your own if rain is expected.

Admission interviews for prospective students and current applicants can be scheduled prior to or following the daily visit and you will have the chance to request an interview during the registration process.
